Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Hi My Angels

Back to the grind and routine this week for a lot of us, all the kiddies are back at school and as for us adults…well back to work (how I miss my collage days now).  So let me be real with you guys, this post was not the planned post for this week. I had originally planned to release my December favourites for you loves but honestly I am just being super lazy. I don’t even think I had any December favourite products as well or I just didn’t pay attention to the products I used since it was a whirl wind of a festive season.

So that being said I decided to feature the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, I have been using this for just a little over a month now, and I must say that I am blown away with the results. I received the 30ml size as a gift for my birthday. It was a part of that block buster gift set.  When I first applied this product, I have to admit I was not impressed. My initial impression was that it was a good serum, you know it was hydrating and nourishing and did what needed to be done but I never saw any visible difference to my skin. So I continued to used this product on and off for about 2 weeks, and that’s when my mom started to point out that my skin looked super bright and luminous but she only told me this when I had used this product the night before so it was from then that I have been using this regularly at night.

Over the past month I have noticed a drastic difference in my skin, it is so supple and hydrated and it has the most amazing luminosity to it. I am turning 25 this year (your girl is getting old) and most women start to see their first signs of aging at this age so I definitely think that using a product like this will counter act those signs – prevention is better than cure, right?  I can see what all the hype about this product is about and why women swear by this product.

Now Estee lauder is known for being a high end brand and this serum is going to cost you a pretty penny. The 30 ml will set you back R850 which is steep but the 50 ml will cost R1175 which is even more crazier. It seems like a lot of money to spend on just one product but this is a serum and you are only supposed to be using a few drops at a time and its only used at night. So factoring all that, I think that the 30 ml will last me around 3-4 months which is not too bad and I will probably invest in the 50ml after so I will get at least 6 months use out of it. I do believe that skincare is an investment and that you should invest in products that work for you. So that’s what I am going to do.

Until the next one my loves

Stay Glam XOXO
